Hex Head Product
Hex head screws and bolts are a standard fastener with hexagonal heads and machine threads. They are easy to install and provide a secure hold, they are typically used with a nut or in tapped holes.
Hex head screws and bolts are also known as hex cap screws or machine bolts.
Nuts
A nut is a type of fastener with a threaded hole. Nuts are typically used with a bolt to fasten multiple parts together and are used across multiple use types and industries.
Machine Screws
Machine screws are uniformly threaded screws with a wide array of configurations, materials, head types and sizes. They are typically used to hold together parts of electronics, engines and industrial equipment. For this reason, machine screws are typically much stronger than other types of fasteners.
Washers
Washer are thin typically disk-shaped, but sometimes square, plates with a hole in them. They are typically used to distribute the load of a nut, bolt or other threaded fastener. Washers can also be used as a spacer or locking device.
Stud and Threaded Rod
A threaded rod, or stud, is a solid rod that is threaded on both ends. In some cases, the threading may be along the complete length of the rod. They are typically used in tension.
Threaded rods (studs) are also known as fully threaded stud bolts, tap end stud bolts, and double end studs.
Rivets
Rivets are permanent mechanical fasteners. They are typically used in permanent installations joining two pieces together. There are several different types of rivets, including the standard solid/round head, semi-tubular, blind, countersunk, drive, flush, friction-lock, and self-pierce.
